“Caravaning design award: innovations for new mobility”

In the fourth international “caravaning design award: innovations for new mobility” competition Messe Düsseldorf awarded prizes to current product developments in the industry which are characterised by contemporary design and pioneering innovative approaches. The growing resonance from companies and the exhibits’ increasing design quality, which is assessed by a jury consisting of five international renowned experts, show that the caravaning design award is one of the most important innovation barometers and initiators for the whole industry. The award is organised by red dot projects.

The jury, consisting of the design experts Kristiina Lassus, Managing Director of kristiina lassus studio, Professor Werner Aisslinger, studio aisslinger, and Professor Dr. Peter Zec, initiator of the red dot design award and Senator of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID), the jury consisted of caravanning experts Adi Kemmer, Director of the Outdoor Recreation section of the Motor Press Stuttgart, and Thomas Seidelmann, Editor-in-Chief of Reisemobil International, honoured 18 award-winners intotal; four of them received the “best practice” distinction for highest design achievements and innovative implementation.
