Twincam 230 Vantecc GmbH, Gärtringen Design: cuerten-design, Achim Cürten, Stuttgart Multi-functional and discrete, this rear view camera for recreational vehicles and vans is simply stuck onto the inside of the rear window, leaving the body and outer appearance of the vehicle unchanged. The camera contains two modules, the recordings of which are displayed on a screen within the field of vision of the driver. The drive camera can replace the interior rear view mirror, thereby providing for a much larger field of vision. Once the car is in reverse, the camera switches automatically from the drive camera to the range camera, ensuring that the driver has an optimal view at all times. The camera housing is made of aluminium, offering a high degree of stability at minimum weight. A carbon visor protects the electronics and, thanks to its optimal elasticity, also functions as a screw-free seal for the housing. In all, the well-thought-out workmanship makes for a uniform, coherent design, while the material characteristics of the rear view camera achieve a high perceived quality. |
